- Type your tip in all CAPITAL LETTERS

- Begin your message as follows: TIPXXXX (where xxxx is your BNN ID number). If your BNN ID number is 3 digits, use 0 as the first digit; If you are not a BNN customer or dispatcher, use XXXX for your BNN ID number

County

Description of Incident (2ND ALARM, SERIOUS MVA, SHOOTING etc.)

The numerical address with cross street if available

Box number if available

Size up of situation

Any mutual aid or assistance requests

Frequency

End your tip with your BNN ID number in parenthesis

Please compose your tip in the manner you normally see them on your pager, clear, concise and to the point. You may send updates or finalize an incident as applicable at any time. Your hotline tips are very important to us and they will be paged to the appropriate BNN notification system immediately if they are entered and submitted properly.
